Return Policy

We pay for the shipping on any jacket sent back to you via UPS Ground on an exchange.  If you do not keep the exchanged jacket, your credit card will be charged $10.00 plus $4.50 handling charges.

There is no problem returning a jacket for exchange or refund  within 30 days of purchase. The 30 days are extended for the holiday season to 10 days after Christmas if you purchase by October 15th prior to Christmas. The details are below. We do not pay for the return shipping costs on any return except on defective jackets or errors on our part in size or style shipped. In some cases we will arrange for UPS to pick up the jacket from you. 

All items eligible for return must have a return authorization (RA) number.
You can obtain this via email or phone "email is preferred"

By E-mail:
To receive the RA #, please e-mail to service@ljackets.com the following information;

    Invoice #
    Date of invoice
    Your name
    Billing address
    Reason for return
    Day and/or Night time telephone numbers - which ever you prefer.
    We will promptly issue an RA# via return e-mail or over the phone (preferably by e-mail).

    Exchanges

    If this is an exchange, please obtain an "RA#" as specified above. Add the following;

    State the size or style you wish to exchange for.  Your credit card will be charged or credited for any price differences.  (a check will be issued for small price differences below your original purchase amount)

    Please state if you wish 2nd day delivery back to you for a $38.00 charge.

The RA# must be prominently displayed inside the shipping box on a piece of paper or the original invoice or packing slip or a print out of the email we send you with the RA# specified.

  • There is a 20% restocking charge if there is any noticeable wear on the jacket.  Excessive wear will not be accepted.
  • We do not pay for return shipping to us with the exception of garments that are manufactured with a defect.
  • We do not pay the shipping for exchange orders or repair orders after 30 days from purchase to the customer.
ELIGIBLE ITEMS FOR RETURN:
  • New goods received defective in manufacture for a refund.
  • New defective goods must be returned in 20 days.
  • The credit card used initially will be credited. If the payment was by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you.
  • New goods for a refund must be returned within 30 days (See holiday exception).
  • New goods that are to be exchanged for other merchandise.
  • If the merchandise being exchanged for is a different selling price than that of the item being returned, then your credit card will be charged or credited accordingly.
  • If a check was used, any additional price difference must accompany the returned item.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect.
We will refund you return shipping charges for the following;
  • Defective merchandise
  • Shipping errors in style or size
  • The refund will be limited to $20.00 total refund. Please ship the jacket back cheapest way, fully insured. The $20.00 should cover any part of the continental USA. Refunds are limited to a single order, not a single jacket.
EXCEPTIONS:
  • HOLIDAY EXCEPTION: You may purchase Christmas gifts early and if necessary, return them 10 business days after Christmas. If there is any wear and tear visible on the garment, and the garment has a deemed manufacturing defect, the defect will be repaired and the garment will be returned to you.
  • If some type of abuse has damaged the garment, we will contact you with an estimate for repair and the return shipping charges to you.
  • If you elect not to repair the garment, then the cost to return the garment to you will be paid by you prior to returning the garment.
  • Altered or customized jackets such as "Embroidered" or "Embossed" jackets are NOT acceptable for returns or exchanges.
